So it appears they have redesigned this part. The picture shows the female end has that nice ridge with both edges chamfered. This is how all my other glass is, and I have no issues. Unfortunately, what I received has a much larger ridge without chamfer. It is too big for the standard plastic connectors. A metal clamp would probably be fine, but I prefer the plastic.<br><br>The clips will hold the pieces together, but not very securely. It does not seat all the way, and really only the two ends are what's holding everything together. It is secure enough for supporting something on top or probably even horizontally at a 90 degree angle. Anything less than that, I would not at all trust it. I will probably just heat up a clip to stretch it out and then just keep it always paired with this one piece. But that is kind of annoying...

angle is actually 102�� but It'll work for my purpose. really not a fan of the angular bulge tho, keck clips have to be forced on. why stonylab doesn't use arc bulges like 99% of companies is beyond be. fast shipping tho, thats really the only benefit of stonylab...
